In 2009, PremiAir launched a new helicopter transfer service - the London Heliport Shuttle. This service offers dedicated flights to meet private jet arrivals from the UK's key business aviation airports, whisking passengers to the London Heliport in Battersea.
The launch recognised the fact that some 40% of PremiAir's traffic connects with private jet arrivals into UK airports. In the summer of 2010 the Heliport will show off a major facelift, coinciding with 50 years of operations and providing passengers with state of the art terminal facilities. The London Heliport Shuttle Service will also complement "Verta" the five star hotel that PremiAir's parent company von Essen is building adjacent to the heliport, scheduled for opening later in 2010.
PremiAir has available - from 0730hrs to 1900hrs Monday to Friday - an AS355 Twin Squirrel helicopter, which seats up to four passengers, or a Sikorsky S76 VIP helicopter, which can comfortably seat up to nine. The London Heliport Shuttle Service provides quick and seamless transfers to and from the key business airports such as Luton, Farnborough, Biggin Hill and Oxford plus the London airports including London Stansted, Heathrow and Gatwick. Other airports are available on request.
